Happy Birthday, Sage!!!!!
Today is May 14th, 2013...Sage's 6th birthday in life, and his 5th away from us.
It's a beautiful day outside. My own children's birthdays are celebrated in winter, and therefore, our parties are always indoors. I can't wait to one day be able to plan a party for my sweet nephew, outside, where we can play at the beach, the park, have a picnic, and finally celebrate the years with him. Whatever you're doing today, and wherever you may be, I hope you're being celebrated, and loved, and not feeling the tremendous loss that your abduction has impinged upon you. Life has dealt you a difficult and unfair hand, my sweet nephew, but it can be overcome. May you always know that you have options, and as you get older, I pray that you will come to find them. Your family here in the U.S. welcomes you with open arms, and this invitation to come home will never expire.

ReplyDeleteEstas seis años de edad hoy y realmente crecer. Espero que hayan tenido un buen cumpleaños y recibió muchos regalos. Sería fantástico si pudiéramos ver algunas fotos de usted.
Todos nosotros seguimos pensando en usted, y hablamos de lo mucho que nos amamos y extrañamos verte. En realidad se encuentra en casi todas las conversaciones que tenemos. No llegar a ver que es muy doloroso para todos nosotros, pero para su papá es una angustia diaria.
Todos nosotros simplemente pedimos que llegará el día en que algo va a cambiar y que podemos compartir tiempo con usted y su familia en México.

So one year has passed since I wrote to my Grandson on his birthday. Today he is 7 and the sadness we feel doesn't begin to dissapate. But, you do learn to try, not to think about it all the time. Birthdays are hard. Another year of memories, pictures, and the void in your life, the worry and concern for their wll being and happiness an ongoing anxiety and the need to hold them close and know they are O.K. Happy Birthday my beautiful sweet Sage. I love you dearly.

Otro año ha pasado y ahora son 7 años de edad . Todavía nos sentimos tristes de que no podemos ver en su cumpleaños y todos los días. Estás creciendo . Probablemente jugando fútbol con sus amigos , la natación, la lectura de libros , etc me gustaría poder preguntarle lo que te gusta en la escuela, si se puede utilizar una computadora, y sus juegos favoritos. Usted tiene primos aquí que quieren conocer a usted y le dan la bienvenida a la familia. Tías, tíos , y toda una familia que te quiere mucho . Eso nunca va a cambiar y ya que usted es un ciudadano de EE.UU. y seguirá siendo así, usted bebe será capaz de venir a vernos cuando tengas la edad suficiente . Todos nosotros le ayudaremos a hacerlo y con el dinero o los arreglos que necesita.
La mayor parte de todo lo que tiene un papá , que te ama con todo su corazón , que intentó tan difícil de encontrar la manera de pasar tiempo con usted aquí o allá en México . Usted fue todo para él y algún día se llega a conocerlo y pasar tanto tiempo juntos como desee.
Diviértete este año con sus amigos, la tía y el tío , abuelos y primos allí.Sé que usted los ama a su familia en México y amados por todos los de su familia aquí en los Estados Unidos. Nos extrañamos y te amamos todos los días. Siempre en nuestros corazones. 7mo cumpleaños feliz , abuela. Diane .
